Like Kenneth Driscoll
Like Kenneth Driscoll, I too am paralyzed and am in a wheelchair. I have two German Shepherds named Rolex & Bulova (my WATCH dogs), who also serve as my Assistance Dogs. I am paralyzed from the waist down and have two BK amputations and so I do pretty much everything from my WC! Bathing my two shepherds is not an easy task. I spent $140 on them coming to my house and doing it last time. This machine, made it SO EASY for me to do! Both my dogs don't run or are afraid of the noise of the machine, because since they were puppies, I've used the vacuum on them to help eliminate the hair! I have to separate the two while I bathe them, as Rolex keeps trying to pull Bulova out of the way, because he wants to do it again! The Bissell machine I consider a wonderful addition to my home! It is so easy to use, my dogs look forward to it! It was an absolute godsend when they got sprayed by a skunk! Rolex got the worst, but I used a skunk eliminator on him and the Bissell Portable Dog Bath System worked wonders on him and the parts after using it on him were easily cleaned with no telltale signs or remains of skunk left behind! Of course, they just got hit in the face and I didn't have to use it on the whole dog! I use it on regular basis on both my dogs. It helps keep theme clean and is very easy to use from my wheelchair! The dogs actually LOVE having a bath now! I am just amazed that it took some company so long to come up with something like this! Kudos to the Bissell CO for inventing the BarkBath system!
