The replacement battery makes the Swivel Sweeper more powerful than we ever remember it being originally. The key is to charge the new battery fully for no more than eight hours and then to NOT recharge it again until after it completely runs out of power. And then do not leave the recharger plugged in for more than eight hours. So we have had the new battery for over a month and only recharged it two or three times. Before, we made the mistake of leaving the old battery plugged into the charger all the time.
