It's a house full of love and laughter and drifts of pet hair
I live in a house with 11(?) cats and a crazy cat lady. It's a house full of love and laughter and drifts of pet hair. I make occasional inroads with the vacuums (one sits idle in almost every room because I see a promo for the latest whiz bang machine and impulse buy, failing to remember that operator is required) but there are times when I think "just accept it, it's really not that bad", but as much as the crazy woman loves cats, I love cooking, and the twain are in constant conflict. I use a lint roller anytime I even think about cooking and have various other techniques to keep the hair out of the consumables......oh, despite what you may have heard, cats are trainable, at least to the extent that they know counters and food prep areas are for looking at, not for jumping on.....EVER! Anyway, saw these and thought they were too good to be true. I mean, let's get the hair at its source! I'm here to say that they are amazing, and I'm not easily impressed. In keeping with my belief that a laughing house is a happy house, I thought I'd be a little passive-aggressive and have fun with the resulting drifts of hair that I pulled off the cats, in short order, mind you. The included picture is my rendition of a fierce Cat-Eating Hair Terrier, and let me tell you the cats still startle when they go by him lying on the floor. One of the more alpha females gave the poor dog a proper slap upside the head and the fur went flying, requiring reconstructive surgery. Definitely recommend for both practical and humor reasons. By the way, unlike my reaction when I hear a glove being slapped on, the dang cats see me put them on and get in a very civilized line to await their turn at The Gloves.
