This is a non-political post. I am so in love with this scent. As to how it smells, once the top notes are gone in about 20 minutes, the scent is rather like Amarige by Givenchy. This does not smell at all fruity or like musk. It's smell, other than Amarige, reminds me of really fabulous triple milled soap from Italy. It smells expensive, it smells feminine, but it is not a heavy perfume nor is it overly musk smelling. It does not smell like "fruit" as I've seen some people post below, who may not know how perfume fragrances are classified. This is a complex scent with many notes. The only downside I can see with it is that the scent does not last well like a perfume by Chanel or Givenchy. I can put on Amarige and it will last until my next shower. This parfum spray lasted about 3 hours with the top notes lasting about 20-30 minutes. On my next try with it, I'll be putting oil on my skin first, and see if that doesn't help the fragrance to stay. BTW, the bottle is very elegant looking. I'm hoping in the future to get this in the hand lotion to extend the layers of the scent. I wish it came in deodorant, as many men's fragrances do, so that the scent of an antiperspirant isn't fighting such a lovely scent.
