Lasted 14 months - What was happy about it until that point.
Final update…
Seems like the motor died today… Cat was not happy about it. Lasted for about 14 months?
UPDATE: feeder is still working great. But we’ve had to secure the feeder with a bungee cord inside a milk crate secure the milk crate to a nearly Immovable object… Put a 40 pound planter on top. And use a small plastic lid instead of the attachable bowl. As he will pull off the bowl that came with it trying to shake treats loose. We also have a feeder cam on it so we can see that he gets fed. And he can’t con us into the second breakfast.

Let me just say that we have an incredibly smart cat… incredibly food motivated. And one that has no portion control button.
Everything is a game. We have child proofing and double child proofing on some of our cabinets. So my only critiques of this are not due to the product but to a hyper intelligent furry feline.
We used to have a spinning feeder. It lasted 2 1/2 years. He learn how to pry the top off of her locked container there too. And would lie about not being fed but with the spinner it was obvious when he was. However with the rotating feeder we had many issues. Limited amount of feedings. Limited programming.
My only critique on this product is I wish the instructions were printed on a larger piece of paper with bigger print. But I took a picture of it for my phone and then expanded the print that way.
Set up was easy. Product was received extremely quickly. Significant amount of food storage. Easy. The locking mechanism on top keeps the cat away.
Our cat does try to paw and bite the lid off… And will pretend that he doesn’t get fed his first meal in the morning even though there is evidence in the white bowl of dust.
We are getting a security camera that is motion sensitive… So we can make sure in the future. Or if we go away for a weekend we can check in on him to make sure he’s getting all his food.
And will probably put a towel around the top with a rubber band to discourage his attempts to break in.
Portion sizes are set so you just dial and how many portion sizes you want delivered. We do two different deliveries five minutes apart of one portion each. This way it’s slows his rate of eating down a little bit.
