So I was a little worried because I am a plus size girl (waist being 44" and hips being 50") but I bought the XL skirt out of pure curiosity since I had money to spare. The skirt, despite my worries, fits surprisingly well! It may be because of the stretchy material for the waist/suspenders but it catered to my body and it isn't too tight or too big. The only complaint that I have is that one of the waist straps is sewn on backwards and all the loose threads but since I'm a seamstress its no big deal to me. zipping the skirt up from the back was difficult so I just put it on over my head without unzipping it. Thank goodness the zipper is strong! I've had plenty of zippers come down or break because of tightness but this one is perfect. Definitely recommend XL size to any plus size women! Be warned, the skirt is a bit short. I'm short myself, only 5'0" and the skirt barely covers my butt. Maybe an inch past it but maybe adding lace to it or wearing shorts will be fine.
