Our neighbor bought one of these ages ago and finally gave it up as a bad job last spring. For Halloween this year, we spray painted it black and orange and filled the bat logo in with rhinestones. We hung it up on the porch and bought some cheap plastic bats to hang around it. Super cute! The family of bats that moved in last weekend thought so too! Now my porch reeks of bat droppings and my children fear the night, but this thing ABSOLUTELY attracts and and shelters our nocturnal companions. Apparently the other, unsatisfied reviewers haven't considered catering to the discriminating aesthetic tastes of their batty neighbors. For bats at least, it's all about the upgrades.
