I spent a lot of time researching beach tents. I was looking for something that was compact, lightweight and easy to use. I came across both this model and their regular version. The two looked very similar and I had a tough time figuring out the differences, so I called up their customer service and they were really helpful. They explained to me that the Deluxe XL version was about 10 inches longer and 5 inches taller. It has an added window for extra ventilation and a few other added benefits. I decided to go with the XL, because I liked the additional size and the extra window. When I received the tent, I had a few questions on how to properly open and collapse the item. I watched the video on their website but still wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly. I called up their customer service department again and they couldn’t be more thorough and attentive. The one thing they emphasized was to make sure you fully extend the leg extensions before popping open then tent. They walked me through the process to make sure I was able to get it right and never made me feel like I needed to rush. After I was successfully able to get my beach tent opened and closed, they spent a few extra minutes talking to me about the product and my first impressions. These days it is hard to find good customer service, but you definitely have it with this company. I wouldn’t hesitate to shop from them in the future because it is clear they really stand behind their product and they care about their customers.
