It's not the glaze making the piece YELLOW
I've read several comments where people are painting their wooden items and the pieces turning yellow and they're blaming the product! It's NOT the SEALER/GLAZES that are"YELLOW" it's the wood finish bleeding through! To prevent this you have to either seal the piece BEFORE PAINTING or SAND THE PIECE BACK to RAW WOOD because the sealer is causing the original finish/stain to reactivate making it BLEED THROUGH YOUR PAINT so your piece looks great and the paint is perfect! It's SO PERFECT you want to PRESERVE AND PROTECT IT, but it's that final step of protecting the new glorious paint job you spent so much time on that's the culprit!!! The ONLY thing you can do is, sand it back, hoping it's deep enough to remove the original finish and or use the stain blocking primer over everything you've already done and layer a whole new paint job over the*old*but personally I would sand it back, seal the piece really well and paint it again! If you're you're going to be painting a piece you're unsure of whether or not it's going to bleed through do a test spot first making sure to test it on an area that is visible when the piece is in it's normal position, because they didn't waste product on the entire thing, especially inside drawers where people are storing things, like the inside of a dresser drawer, because it could ruin clothes, so testing those areas won't give a accurate result! So do a patch test, using the paint and sealer you're planning to use and check it after 24hours, taking a picture before, right after, during and the last 24-36 hours later and compare the pictures to one another so you can see what, if any changes are happening!!! I know my review is ridiculously LOoOoOoOoOnG but a lot of people are unaware bleed through is a thing and they're blaming the product! I would hate to think, people are going through this over and over and over again, thinking it's one thing when in reality it's another!
