RECOMMENDED FOR BARBERS, NOT FOR PERSONAL HOME JOBS.
I AM a professional, and I come from a family of barbers.... Literally my dad, mom, brothers, uncles... We all use these to clipper over comb, beards, fades, fros, and me personally i use them to fade my designs. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THEM. If you cut your own kids hair, slapping a guard on your kids head and calling it good is still going to look unclean, but these are better then any Walmart brand clipper. THESE CLIPPERS DO GET HOT, ONLY IF YOU ARE SLOW AND OR. ROOKIE AT CUTTING HAIR. I use these for 5-10 min per haircut I cut about 15-30 people's heads a day, they do not get warm with the use that I do. If your sitting in the mirror for 35 mins cutting your own hair, then yes don't get these. Hands down these are some of the best out there for barbers who can clipper over comb, and freehand fades, correcting lines mistakes and adding polish. BEARDS- for personal use, if you have the extra cash it's a must have to take it off fast and efficiently with no pulling or clogging. For professional use, these are a must have for freehanding beards, fros, flat tops, fades, and designs. NOTE!!!!!! If they make a horridly loud buzzing noise, there is a flathead screw on the side that you want to tighten ONLY JUST ENOUGH TO GET RID OF THE SOUND! Over tightening results in lack of movement in the blades and you will find clogging much more frequent even to the point of the blades stopping all together. KEEP BLADES OILED REGULARLY. In my professional use, I usually oil them about every 3-5 haircuts. I hope you found this review helpful.
