I received my towels (order four set for my family) and read through a lot of reviews on these types of towels and factoring the cost because I needed to order 4. I wanted something large that could pack fairly small. Ever try carrying four large towels soaked with water and some sand it in... not fun. I thought I had a good understanding on what I was buying, but this is why one shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. So my first thought when I opened it was...🤨 you got to be kidding me!?! How is this a towel!?! It like and feels like a napkin at nice restaurant, the ones that look and feel nice, but that’s all they are good for. You wipe away a little water from your lips and it just smears it around... so you just use your hands to wipe the water away or you just keep the napkin there for a long time hoping you can coax it to work. A number of people hear say a would make a nice tablecloth. The look on my wifes face was that of “told you not to buy those, should have bought the terry cloth beach towels,” you know the disapproving stare. 🤣 Part of a good solid marriage is know when to say something or when to walk away. I knew if I said, “because when we go to the beach, guess who is the one carrying all the heavy items... Cooler with food and liquids, back pack and beach sack, not to mention the beach tent. Plus wet clothes and four large terry cloth soaked with water, plus a pound of sand! You guess it, me!” I chose the high road and though let’s see how this fine silky fabric will do in a water test. I went to the kitchen and soaked my arms as if I was just getting out of the shower. Grabbed my newly acquired, very fine shimmering napkin style towel and BAM! A few strokes both arms were completely dry! I was blown away that something this THIN was just as absorbent as my thick plushy towels that are just a tad bit cheap than buy this four set. Just witnessing what just happened and I tried it again. Again 💥 all dry. I walked back to the living room and ask my wife to try it. Keep in mind she was in the room when I opened the package. She saw them and laugh a bit and said, “why didn’t you just buy the Terry clothes beach towels?” She gets up and walks towards the kitchen, turns the facet on and proceeds to wet up her arms and hand. I handed her the towels I just used and she started to dry off. The look on her face!!! I wish I had a body cam! Because you could see her smirky look faded away with each swipe. Not sure my iPhone emojis are going through but I will tried. Wife gets up off the couch 😡 Wife’s walks to the kitchen🤬 Wife turns on facet and proceeds to drench arms in water 🤬😡🤬😡🤬 Hand wife towel 😡🤬😡 Proceeds to dry off😏 One arm done😶 Both arms done🤯🤯🤯🤯 She was amazed!!! Did I brag?!? No, I just smiled, walk to up to here- gave her a kiss and went to throw these towels in the laundry. Hope you all learned a few lesson here, the final one I have to offered is at the end. 1. Don’t judge a book by its cover. 2. Learn when to speak out, but not importantly learn when to not speak out. 3. Be humble, never brag and say “How you like me know!?!?” 4. Alway kiss your spouse- several times through the day. These towels are awesome with proper care the will work as intended. I love these towels and I think you will too. And here the last thing. Microfiber you do not want to use fabric softener! Not good! When drying does not apply high heat! Use a low heat, but best to air dry. Again no fabric softeners or dryer sheets like bounce.
