ZIWIPEAK MADE MY SICK AND MISERABLE CAT INTO A HEALTHY AND HAPPY CAT!
I adopted my cat in 2014. Even though I had her on an expensive grain free diet, it quickly became apparent to me that she had some severe medical issues that had not been relayed to me. The worst of these problems were a nasty and chronic anal gland discharge that was making her absolutely miserable. She also had horrible dry, "crusty" patches on her skin. Her fur always looked and felt dirty, and she had horrible dandruff. After a year of routine and painful drainage of her anal glands by Vets, and expensive Vet bills - but receiving no real help from Vets, I decided to take my fur baby's problems into my own hands. I did a lot of reading, and came to the conclusion that she had many food allergies, and needed to be put on a "novel food" program. I did extensive research on cat foods, and after much trial and error, decided on Ziwipeak. I started with the Lamb dry cuisine, although she now also eats the Venison, and sometimes the Mackerel/Lamb. A convenient scoop is included in each bag, so you know exactly how much you should feed your cat each day, according to their weight. Ziwipeak is quite expensive, but since it corrected my fur baby's medical issues, the cost is well worth it to me. After about two weeks on Ziwipeak, my cat had no more anal gland issues! Next, her skin became clear, her fur was silky and smooth, and she had no more dandruff. My cat really loves canned food, and it is also better for cats, but to feed an exclusive diet of a GOOD canned food (at $3.00 or $4.00 a can), it can become extremely expensive. So lately, I have been taking about a heaping Tablespoon of canned food (usually Ziwipeak Mackerel/Lamb or Rabbit), and I mix that with a little bottled water (to avoid chlorine), until it's a slightly "soupy" consistency. I then add in a scoop of the Ziwipeak dry cuisine. If the mixture is too dry, I just add a little more water to moisten. I then warm the food in the microwave for about 10 seconds, or to room temperature. It has worked great. It is healthy for my cat, and it gives her the moisture of canned food. But, most of all, she absolutely loves it, and her medical issues are still a thing of the past! I sincerely hope that my comment will be helpful to other loving cat owners whose cats have similar problems.
