I bought these boots specifically for a weekend in New York City that I knew it would be snowing. We walked over 20 miles over the span of 2 days, and the second day it snowed 5 inches. Not one time did my feet feel cold or wet, and I never slipped once despite the very slushy conditions. I was just wearing normal weight socks yet my feet were never cold, but they were never hot either. A perfect temperature. I stepped directly in huge puddles and never even got slightly damp. I HIGHLY recommend these boots. I have flat feet, so my feet ache pretty easily normally. Not one single time did my feet hurt or did anything rub despite my thin socks in these boots. I added a very thin memory foam insert before I ever even wore them because of my flat feet, but it was nothing serious and I still think even without them I would have been very comfortable. I want to buy another pair in black. They are adorable and extremely practical.
