The straw lid used to really suck (no pun intended). Either it would squeal like a stuck pig when drinking from it, or have so tight of a seal you needed to unscrew the lid to be able to drink. I ended up going through at least 4 of these lids. I ordered a new one recently because the nozzle came loose which broke the seal to the straw and made it impossible to drink. I'm not kidding when I say they used to suck. To my surprise they have updated the internal design of their straw lids, and none of the problems I had before still exist. I don't have to suck incredibly hard to drink, there is no more squeaking or squealing, the nozzle's connection feels solid. Only time will tell if this thing is really up to snuff, but I'm happy with it so far.
