I bought this for my scooter which already came with a built in light that was plenty bright but I didn't want it to drain the scooter's battery as I was using it. The nice thing about this light is that you can use it as a flashlight, it detaches easily as you untighten the mount. Another nice thing about this is that you can spread the light or use it as a spotlight as the lens is zoomable. I use it with rechargeable batteries and it is super bright, even brighter than the built in light in my scooter. I haven't tested its weather-proofing abilities yet since I don't use my electric scooter in inclement weather but I'm sure it'll do fine based on its construction.
