Okay, I've only had it two days and here are my thoughts/impressions. First, I have purchased other hand-made leather items before but not from this seller. They ALL have a bit of a different feel from the majorly processed stuff you purchase from chain retailers. First, it is exactly what I wanted and I love it, so anything that comes next is a description, not a critique. It looks a bit "worn" but in a fashionable way. The leather is not uniformly treated, but that only adds to the charm to me. It is sturdy enough to stand up on its own and very spacious. You can see that the central buckle looks long, but I don't have much in it at this point, when I fill it, that will even out because of depth. I've tried to take pictures that represent it well, but I am not a photographer. It came with a shoulder pad, but I took it off because I don't need it right now. The stitching is well done and the rivets are solid. the hardware for the buckles and joins is very nice quality. Ultimately, it is an excellent bag, especially at that price point.
