Nice solid, thick tent
For the money, this is a nice solid tent. The material is very sturdy looking, the stitching is done well and the zippers are nice and solid. Also included are a few extra bits of material, in case anything needs to be patched. The tent even comes with a liner for the bottom (not sure if it's actually waterproof, and since this tent is sitting on top of carpet, I put a tarp under the whole thing). The frame is a bit on the lightweight side. It appears to be some kind of light metal (steel?) and assembles very easily. I'm not sure how much weight it supports; the manufacturer provides three pieces that go across the top (for light support). Two have deeper "hooks" on the ends than the third one, so I put the two on first, and the third perpendicular to the first two - then I hung my lights from that third one (which is supported by the two "deeper" rods.) The instructions weren't clear on this part, but this makes sense to me. Overall, a very nice, lightproof tent with plenty of openings for fans/ vents/ electrical cords, etc.
