*THIS* is the 'smart' phone you want if you care about privacy
In the morning - *THIS* is the dumb smart phone you want if you care about privacy and your mental health. It works great with Verizon and is 4G capable so it should have a long useful life in terms of cellular network (3G will be phased out soon).
DO NOT USE THE INTEGRATED GOOGLE FUNCTIONALITY because that eliminates the entire use case for this phone!!
It does do email, wifi, bluetooth, Hotspot and all the modern phone capabilities but it does them inconveniently enough that you will really think about if you HAVE to browse a web site while youre waiting for your sandwich to be made at lunch.
You wont be a slave to your phone, constantly fidgeting with it whenever you sense any boredom coming on. Instead you might actually look at things around you and eventually talk to people. You know like you used to do a few years ago before that smart phone took control of your brain.
Best of all the apps wont track everything you do and sell your habits to advertisers.
