I have no idea why I was expected some huge contraption. Now that I look at the site, it doesn't give me any reason to believe those zucchinis they're shredding into noodles are on steroids or something. It's a handheld contraption made mightily of sturdy plastic and . . . steel? I'm no Popeye myself, so manhandling anything larger would have been a problem anyway and besides, it's smallness I MEAN EFFICIENCY means it requires less storage space. As for the noodling, it gets the job done just fine. I finally figured out how to get my kids to eat carrots. Just make carrot hair and spread it around a potato latke face. Dunzo.
