We have a (legitimately) crazy dog who nips when she's nervous, can't sit still without pacing, gets super anxious when we're gone, and acts out spitefully by chewing on our stuff or pooping somewhere when we do something she doesn't like (and that's barely the tip of the iceberg of her issues). The first year we tried every type of training and everything else we could think of, but she's still nuts, so we started looking into medication. We met another dog who came from the same breeder is also just as crazy and is on Prozac, so we are suspecting that the dogs are inbred and thus have a logical reason to be as crazy as they are. However, that dog is still crazy and still packed and gets nervous, the Prozac just took the edge off, so we wanted to find another way to try to calm our dog. Long story short, our vet recommended trying Vetriscience. We were skeptical at first, but willing to try anything. For the first few days there was really no noticable difference. But after that she actually started to calm down. She stopped pacing, and she nips much less. She doesn't get as anxious anymore, so she doesn't chew things up anymore like she used to. Our dog is a little too crazy to be totally changed by anything of course, but this stuff makes her MUCH more manageable. We keep her on these chewies daily now, and I'm honestly not sure what we would do without them because we ran out one time and crazy dog quickly came back. We learned our lesson.. never again!
