I'm a fairly strict parent when it comes to screens and children. Tv time in my house is limited and i think we're better for it. My son is getting too an age where he wants to play video games. This is something he earns, he gets to play on rainy days or after completing chores without being asked, and we both love it. I don't worry about what he's playing or seeing. Some of the games are good for brain development, others are just fun. It's great for long car rides. We both love sitting together and taking turns on some of the games. I'd recommend it to anyone. Only complaint is the battery life wears out fairly quick. If you leave the volume off though it'll last a little longer.
