I have a absolutely horrible neck. It is the neck of someone in their 70s and I am in my early 40s. It’s bad. My pain management doctor wanted me to get a cervical traction device, however she did not want me to get one that was an over the door type & I was not about to spend $400+on the kind that I needed since no medical supply companies carry them. So I saw this & saw that it would hit all of the triggerpoints that bother me and contribute to my occipital neuralgia, & since the price wasn’t too bad I figured I would try it out. It arrived in a burlap sack which I thought was a little strange but I pulled it out and it is the most hideous shade of neon pink and it looks ridiculous. But that being said, it actually works. I use it about five minutes every other day & it helps... you can actually feel your neck lengthening & the muscles releasing which is fantastic. My pain management doctor made me use it in front of her to make sure that it wasn’t going to do any damage or push my neck out of alignment more than it already is, & she actually was pleasantly surprised with how it worked. Again it’s not the greatest to look at, but it works & it helps so that’s all that really matters. And the price was WAY more in my range than the motorized one that I was supposed to get.
