FOR THE MONEY, THIS IS ONE BAD A$$ CAMERA! I’M BUYING ANOTHER ONE FOR MY 1989 944S2…. If you know what you are doing with the install kit, great! If not, have professional do it-don;'t give it a bad review!! I have an extended full size VAN, and cables ARE long enough! If not, get the extension cable! Get the permanent install kit, again, have a professional install it if you can't! WATCH THE VIDEO, hope it helps some….. HOW TO FIND YOUR front AND REAR RECORDINGS AND SCREENSHOTS!!! It DOES RECORD FRONT AND REAR OUT OF THE BOX!!!!! If you have the rear camera plugged in, it will RECORD AUTOMATICALLY (there is no setting in the menu)! If you have it set at 1296 resolution, it WILL NOT RECORD REAR because the rear camera only has a resolution of 1080….. If you are going to record FRONT and REAR, get a 128 SD card to record in 1080, otherwise, to test it out, set it to 720/1080. IT DOES SCREENSHOT BOTH FRONT AND REAR: As long as both cameras are connected. Instructions SUCK, and you have to think/look outside the box…I’m an engineer and it took me an hour…looking for a ‘car with headlights’ mentioned in some of the reviews at the bottom left….
