I'm a 300lb man, and I usually need bigger, reclining, softer chairs, like those leather recliners, but this holds up pretty okay considering my weight and spinal arthritis. I find myself tossing and turning in it a lot, but I just ordered some extra back and seat padding, as well as a head rest pillow, so maybe it'll improve. I'm also a little too wide to fit between the arms, but the fact they are adjustable is perfect. I'm giving it 5 stars because it is definitely a good product, and just because I'm a fat bastard doesn't mean this product's quality is worth any less. I believe it is advertised for only up to 250lb. I like it though, but man does my fat ass hurt in it. I'll work on making it more comfy for a big guy like me, maybe the pain will stop, but hey, I'm 300lb, but also disabled with severe back issues, and this thing can hold me 14 hours a day. Definitely quality... for now. With me, it's always a matter of "how long will this chair last?" This will break for me eventually, just hope it is not soon! If you're a skinny little terd, then hop on this chair ASAP because it'll do you wonders. -------------------------------------- UPDATE ON MY BUTT @ 08/03/2017: I have still managed to keep this chair in one piece. I've also managed to find a great combination of support products for my fat butt and my back to go along with this chair. This thing is fighting to stay alive like a champion. I still toss and turn in it and get a few aches or whatever, but yeah... 300lbs... that just comes with the territory. The chair broke. My butt punished it too much. One of the bolts that holds the armrest to the seat snapped in half. To the chair's credit, it lasted longer than almost all chairs I've ever owned in the last 10 years. This chair lasted a full one year. Oddly enough, it broke on the EXACT one year anniversary of owning it. RIP chair... you were a real trooper. We had so many good times together. <3
