I switched to a VOIP service and ditched my old landline, I needed a multiple handset cordless to accomplish the task. Amazon offered a very affordable 3 handset package, manufactured by AT&T. The EL52300 model "filled the bill". Besides crystal clear clarity and reliabliity it offers a lot of great features (suggest downloading user manual as it only has a "quick start manual" packaged). -stores 100 numbers -speed dialing -answering machine -speakerphone -caller I.D. -intercom -redial -pause -flash button Whenever an update is made on one handset (time, date, number, etc.) the other handsets automatically receive the update--major cool feature! If you are looking for a low-cost, but high quality cordless phone, look no further.
