Since their release, I've been wearing the 1st generation Echo frames. I need glasses and never liked wearing an earpiece, so I tried and loved them. They look like regular glasses. Yet, offer the convenience of listening to messages, music, taking calls, and more. I was happy to receive the 2nd gen promotion. My gripe with the 1st gen pair is the battery life. That doesn't seem to be as big a problem with this new pair (although I haven't spent much time with them). The 2nd generation glasses are also much better with my dialect. I don't have to be as careful with my pronunciation when using Alexa. All in all, I am happy with both pairs. If you wear glasses or want an accessory to make life easier, you will appreciate these.
