Used this to house abandoned nursing queen and her newborn kittens (3) and the X-Large had room for a standard litter pan for mom, bedding area for nursing/sleeping with kittens, food/water bowls for mom and even our nanny-cam so that we could keep a non-intrusive eye on them. It kept its shape and housed them for a few weeks, and then when they were old enough to have run-of-the-room, it packed away nicely. Full zip-opening on the top allows access for pet-parents to change bedding/bowls, and the door allowed for our injured mama to walk into her vet carrier on her own instead of having to lift her. 4-feline life-saver!
