GAP is NOT a design Flaw.. READ INSTRUCTIONS!!!!
IGNORE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT GAP IN TOP... it is not a design flaw. All you have to do is tighten the screws and the gap vanishes. It is designed this way, so you have a sturdy gate.
I bought 2 and assembled both in less than 5 minutes. Gates are awesome.
Simple pull back and then up and gate opens either way, and let go to allow gate to close itself.
