I chose this case over the Speck version of this case because of two main benefits: 1) the power and volume buttons on the Otterbox Symmetry are easy to press compared to the Speck. 2) it's not slippery like the Speck case. That being said, there's one major issue with this case and it's that it discolors (see pictures). The photo you see is that of my case and a brand new Otterbox Symmetry clear case. After 6 months of usage, my case started to turn yellow as seen in the photo. Also, when they say it's scratch resistant, that doesn't mean you're not going to get a lot of scratches. It just means you won't get deep scratches. After 6 months of usage, I had so many scratches on the back of the case and it was pretty apparent.
