I ordered two pair, one pair for myself and one pair for a friend for her birthday. I used these for the first time this past weekend for a difficult hike. I am really glad I got these - the support and the anti-shock really made the hike more manageable and they're very easily adjustable. They have made me a trekking pole convert. I'm buying another set for another friend. edit: I just wanted to re-iterate how great these poles stood up. Just returned from very hard hiking in Alaska/Yukon (3 weeks) and the poles withstood all of the abuses. Would definitely recommend.
