I got a different glass tea infuser bottle last year to use in college, but it broke and I had to look for a new one. After looking for many hours online at different glass tea tumblers, I decided on the Pure Zen tea tumbler. It seemed to have the best reviews in relation to its price, and I think it had the best reviews in general of all the glass tea infuser bottles I looked through. It hasn't disappointed me. I use it to make tea, and pouring boiling water or cold water into the bottle has not caused it to crack. Easy to wash and disassemble. I have been carrying it around in a side pocket of my backpack when attending classes, and despite accidentally hitting door frames with it occasionally, it has not cracked or broken. I keep it in the fabric sleeve all the time though, unless I'm washing it. (I was looking for a glass bottle specifically because I don't want to use plastic tumblers for hot beverages, since heat may cause chemicals such as BPA to leach from plastic bottles. I also considered getting a stainless steel tumbler but those usually also have a thin plastic coating and/or a plastic cover.) This tumbler is portable and seems durable so far, so I'm really happy with it. It is heavier than plastic and stainless steel travel mugs, but lighter than my friends' ceramic travel mug.
