Really effective product. I hung this over my garage door, in the middle of the structure. If someone walks into my drive or a car pulls in, the alarm immediately sounds. It is heat vs motion activated so I have not noticed any false positives (i.e. alarms activated by wind or rain). It has three choices of loudness level so one can experiment or easily change this depending on the situation (for example I put it on low in the day so I know when the mail arrives and on loud at night as a forceful deterrent).
