I bought two sets of these as you can't beat the price. They heat up really good, and are plenty hot enough for my fine to medium hair. I threw away my other set of Helen of Troy ones, as they had the heated clamp clips, and those rollers are extremely heavy due to the clamp clips and you can't roll all the way to your head because of the clamps. THESE good old fashioned ones have the easy to use clips, and they are super simple to use and nice and lightweight. I couldn't be happier with them. The curl holds great as well, giving lots of volume to your hair. The reason I bought two sets is mainly because if I want to use only one size of roller I can, depending on the look I'm going for. Sometimes you just can't improve on perfect, just as they were made years ago. I hope this review will help you decide which ones you want to buy.
