I'm going to talk about something that a lot of women sadly have gone through in my review. I am a spousal abuse survivor from 32 year's ago so with that said. I have ever since had to deal with very severe dark circles under my eyes. And under my eye's some days I wouldn't leave the house because the darkness would be worse and look like the abuse had happened all over again. I assumed it was from nerve damage or something and I would just have to live with it the rest of my life since like I said it's been 32 year's ago when it happened. I have for the past 2 month's been using Lancome genifi. youth serum and I had also been trying 3 different eye cream's from Lancome for the darkness but was seeing no good results from the eye cream's. Well I'm a prime member and had gotten a great coupon to use on essentials so I thought what the heck and I bought the olay ultimate eye cream and the olay eye brightening cream. I started using a little of both cream's on my eye's. After about just 1 week I was amazed at what I saw or rather didn't see. My dark circles have disappeared. My eye's are bad to be puffy under them also but after I apply these cream's in the morning that to will nearly completely go away. I don't know if it is a combination of the Lancome youth serum with the eye cream's or just the two eye cream's using them together. All I know is I have actually set and cried because I don't have to look at the horrible darkness under my eye's every day and be reminded of the pain I went through so many year's ago every day now. I use just a little of the ultimate eye cream because I have found if you use to much it will flake a little when you put another cream on or moisturizer. The ultimate eye cream is not a great moisturizer itself but with the brightening eye cream it moisturizes a little more that's why just 4 stars for the moisture on the ultimate eye cream but 5 star for the brightening eye cream for moisturizing. I am 53 year's old and I haven't worn makeup for about 15 year's. At my age the hot flashes makes it melt off anyway lol. But now that I don't have the horrible dark circles any more I feel so much more confident about my appearance especially when I go out in public. When I was younger I was always told how pretty I was but after what happened to me I lost my self confidence and have struggle ever since. But now after so many year's I am feeling so much better about myself especially now that I don't have severe dark circles under my eye's any more. I know all product's doesn't work the same for everyone but I hope that some great women will find the help that I have with these eye cream's. I hope olay never stops making these amazing product's that have helped me so much and hopefully will help other women find their self confidence again.
