First, I want to establish that this case has finally been fixed. When the XS came out, Spigen marketed it as being XS form fitted. The camera cut out was not meant for the XS, though. Early reviews around the launch of the XS were split 50/50 which lead me to believe there were X and XS reviews being given simultaneously. Reviewers saying it didn’t fit at all... others saying they were confused by the reviewers that had problems with the camera cut out. This new updated version now Fixes that. What angers me is this was almost my favorite Spigen case and I had to wait several months before I felt comfortable reordering it after the first mishap. I was almost pushed to never buy a Spigen again with that problematic case because it shifted my opinion of them a a legitimate case company to another of the millions of producers that don’t care about the product or the consumer. Just looking to make a buck. I’m happy to report it’s fixed. After seeing recent reviews that said it’s been fixed I gave it another go reluctantly. I’m happy with it and I haven’t even gotten to the case itself. It feels so comfortable to hold. It adds just enough grip to hold with confidence but not too much where it’s annoying getting it in and out of your pocket. The clear backing is a durable plastic that has a hardness rating of like 1. It scratches pretty easy. I’ve been buy this case for generations though. It’s been my go to case with every upgrade. It adequately covers the phone without being to bulky and intrusive to the design of the phone. All in all, my problem with the case has been rectified. Thanks Spigen. Next time, don’t you dare take advantage of your consumers. We enjoy your cases, but I’ll drop you like a bad habit if I think your trying to play me for a fool again!
