I wanted a loose fit so I ordered a medium when I am a small. I should’ve gotten my true size as the item is now a little too loose and long on me. I choose to keep the larger size, however, as it looks very cute tied up in front with the sleeves rolled. I will be ordering another color in a smaller size in the future so I can wear it open or tucked into jeans as I originally planned. The material is pretty thick and sturdy. Very nice quality
