I initially stayed away from these because of the unknown brand. After buying and returning another brand (which I believe is another sold only on Amazon, but seemed to be a bit more established.) I figured I give these a shot. Packaging is nice, but who cares. It could come in a brown paper bag, The clamshell case is nice. Not exactly ultra-portable but small enough for a carry on bag and nice for storage around the house. Let me preface that I'm not super audiophile. I have decent a midrange consumer grade surround sound system. I do like good sound quality, but not to the extreme. (I would never use a soundbar, but also would spend $10k for a system). I have not used headphones in over 20 years and have never used wireless or Bluetooth headphone, so I really have nothing to compare the sound quality of the BOHM headphone. The build of the headphones seems sturdy. They are light but don't feel cheap. They are comfortable, maybe a bit snug, but so far not uncomfortable. However I haven't worn them for extended periods of time yet. The Bluetooth pairing is a bit sketchy. No problem pair with my laptop, but would pair with my phone until I removed from my laptop. It took several times to pair with my tablet, but I was eventually successful. The sound quality is amazing. Clean, crisp, just enough base. I can't compare to Bose or Sony, but for the price I'm very happy. The controls are easy to get to and simple enough to use. I have only used for music, I have not tried to use them for a phone conversation, but I didn't purchase intending to use them for phone calls. The noise reduction works okay. I wasn't blown away and it did change the sound profile of the headphones (softer and less bass), but I can see these working nicely to drown out the drone of the engine on a plane flight. Again, I haven't tried any other headsets, so I don't know how it compares to other brands. The only issue I had so far was the flashing power LED annoyed my wife when I wore the headsets to listen in bed. I've only had these a day, so I can't attest to durability, but so far, so good. Overall, these are great for the money. I would probably give 4.5 starts because of the Bluetooth pairing quirks, but I can't be sure it's not my devices. Also since you can't give half stars, they deserve more than 4 stars, so I gave them 5. Update: There is some clipping when connected to Windows Laptop. Absolutely no issue with Android phone and tablet. This seems to point to an issue with windows and/or the Bluetooth hardware on my laptop. Just a consideration if you plan on using with PC/Laptop. Update on using with Windows: This shows up in "playback devices" as both a headset and headphones. The headset device includes the microphone, the headphones device does not. If I connect to the headphones device only there is no clipping and sound quality is equal to my android devices. On windows 8/10, you get to the playback devices by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the notification tray and clicking on "Playback devices" - Hope this helps!
