Five stars isn't nearly enough
My dog has been on a ketogenic diet, so I have to keep close restrictions on carbs, protein and fat. A lot of supplements have added hidden sugars and other carbs which can keep ketosis from occurring. So we have to be very careful what we add to their food to make it nutritionally complete. And honestly, many of the supplements we can add have bitter unpalatable tastes or smells, which makes it hard to get a dog to eat. When I first saw your product, I noted that it didn't contain anything but freeze dried organs in a capsule. Having her on such a restricted diet (turkey, broccoli and mct oil, as well as flaxseed oil and algal DHA for omega 3 support), I was thrilled, because I had been thinking about adding ground organs to her meal for the much-needed nutritional value but it is such a messy endeavor. Also, she had become quite picky about what she would eat. Turkey was the only thing she would tolerate, and even then I had to coax her and hand feed her one bite at a time. This is common with dogs with cancer, and even more so on the ketogenic diet since they get tired of the high fat content. The first time I broke open one of your capsules and mixed it with her food, she immediately sprang to attention with great interest. When I put the bowl down in front of her, she polished it off in 15 seconds - no exaggeration...I timed it. It used to take at least 10 minutes of coaxing, down on my knees on the floor with her, pleading with her to eat. No more! Now instead of hiding when it's mealtime, she's right there at my feet, drooling in anticipation. I know the capsules are supposed to be for people, but they have been a Godsend for me and my dog. I can't begin to express how thankful I am that I found them.
