I bought this for miscellaneous cleaning & decided to try it the first time on a large area rug. I got this rug about 5 years ago but with kids & dogs it has gotten so dull & stained. I rented a shampooer but it did nothing. I then paid $400 for a very well known carpet cleaning company to ship it to Dallas where they claimed to have submerged it but it came back looking & smelling exactly the same. I worked on sections at a time & let me tell you this cleaner gets it done!! I emptied the dirty container several times with that muck looking water. I couldnt believe how much dirt & dog hair came out! I found that the Max Pro cleaner worked the best. I am so excited to tackle my old couches next
