Twice now I've lost phones through mishaps. Once on the ski slopes when I took a photo and slipped the camera back into my inside jacket pocket - only I missed. It fell out the bottom of my jacket and I didn't realize it till later. I retraced my tracks and believe it or not, I found it! Put it on a leash after that. Then I got a new Galaxy S9 with the camera and fingerprint reader centered on the back. The old leash didn't fit. Again I went skiing and lost my new phone. This time it fell out of a pocket as I was dragging my gear out of the back of the car. Some good soul saw it, figured out exactly what happened and tucked it into the car's door handle. Got online that night and found this lanyard which fits the S9 perfectly. No interference with the camera or fingerprint reader. It's indespensible for skiing, kayaking or any outdoor activities but I also use it shopping (my list is in my phone), walking the dog, etc. I really consider it indispensable.
