I absolutely love his Instant Pot-Duo 8qt. The extra room and all the improvements were greatly anticipated since I bought my first IP DUO just one year ago. I bought my second six months ago, and I considered it the same as having a second gourmet pan. They really are that good! When I learned this model was coming out, I prepared myself to give my second IP to my daughter,who lives several states away, and hold onto the first. This one will serve for my large gatherings, bigger cheesecakes, deeper stacking a of meals, bigger batches of soups and broths to go in the freezer, etc. The improvements over the IP-DUO60 are as follows and get a big thumbs up: 1). Capacity, of course 2). Accessories improved. The trivet handles are longer to accommodate the depth of the inner pot. Also the handles are grooved, so you can insert your fingers to pick it up. The ladle is now is thicker and has a pouring spout. Both rice paddle and ladle are a bit longer. 3). Valve pin is now red so you can now easily see that it has come to pressure from across the room. There are also line markings. 4). Power cord is heavy duty with three prong grounding to accommodate the increased 1200 wattage. 5). The inner pot shows markings for cups and liters now. Improvements are lovely. I am forever thrilled by my Instant Pot, and I want others to give it a try...especially my fellow blind and visually impaired kitchen warriors. It will change the way you cook and eat forever 💞💞💞
