This food processor is very effective. It is extremely fast! Pretty powerful. I use it to make nut milks, salsa, hummus, blended yogurt, etc Although if you blend anything with a lot of liquid like nut milk, it will spill out of the lid. Also, if you blend for a second too long it will not be chunky salsa, it will be finely ground. One or two quick pulses should do chunky jobs like salsa, and a few more for creamy things like hummus. It is good for baby food, but will only puree if there is a large amount in it, though it may leave small chunks. The slicing feature is amazingly fast and powerful, great for slicing veggies to dip or put in salad or soup, great for quick slicing of fruits for the kids and healthy snacks. Shredding feature is also amazing. I love it for salads, to make hashbrowns, and for making shredded fruit meals for my kids. Overall it was a great buy and it makes my duties in the kitchen much easier every day. Easy clean up, just pull apart and rinse with hot water, if needed scrub with soft side of sponge. Just beware of blade, very sharp! I plan to use it more for all kinds of creative ventures! Totally worth the price!
