ARE YOU USING & CLEANING YOUR DERMA ROLLER CORRECTLY????
This review is for the Beauty Facial Skin Care Kit. You need to PROPERLY CLEAN & CARE for your Derma Roller. Despite what some people may say, that DOES NOT MEAN using Alcohol to clean them. Even with the more expensive rollers, they should be cleaned the same way. I even used cheap Derma Rollers for years ( the last one I had came straight from China, almost 18 months ago and I think it just costs $4.00) This one was purchased for me by a friend. I think everyone was tired of me using the same one for so long.
So, why don't you want to use Alcohol? If you read people's reviews on different Derma Rollers, you'll see that after repeated cleanings, the Alcohol Dries Most of Them Out, plus it Does Not Get Out Those Little Microscopic Pieces of Skin that You Can't See, but They're There. What you Should be Using is DENTURE CLEANSING TABLETS. It does not matter what brand you use. Wal-Mart has some Cheap Generic Ones. After Finishing with my Derma Treatment, I use a glass of Hot (Not Boiling) water, drop the DENTURE TABLET in, wait until the Tablet Dissolves and put your Derma Roller in. I time it about 15 minutes. I've had a bunch of women email me that this tip really has helped save their derma Rollers, so I'm giving the tip again. After the 15 minutes are up, I rinse off the Roller and lay it on a lint free dish towel or cloth to Air Dry, then put it back into it's Plastic Container. Do this and your Derma Roller will last for years. If you don't believe that denture cleansers are Safe & can Disinfect, how do you think they get the Bacteria Out of Between Your Dentures & then you put those Dentures Into your Mouth? Trust me, a Lot of Women have been Cleaning their Derma Rollers this Way for Years.
You have to press down hard enough on the Derma Rollers, to where they're actually making your skin Reddish or Pink, but Not So Hard that you're Bleeding. If you're Bleeding, it's Too Hard or it's the Wrong Sized Roller. It should hurt a little, but you get used to it. Not bad at all. More like a stinging, a little like a mild sunburn at first.
I use a Derma Roller on my Face in an Upwards Motion & then a Sideways Motion Every Other Day for about 3 weeks, then I take a Week off. But, everyone has a different scheduling. You just have to see what works for you.
One thing is to Always use some type of Moisturizer Afterwards. I Usually put on Vitamin E Crème Swiss Collagen Complex Crème that I buy at Sam's Club for about seven dollars for a big jar and my skin looks about 10 years younger. But, once in a while, I like to warm up a little Coconut Oil & Rub it in. Coconut Oil is a Natural Antibiotic & Helps Stimulate Skin Cells, so it works for me to kind of rotate it once in a while.
Nearly 18 months ago, I did a Little Tests. I wanted to see how much it really helped. So, I started using a Derma Roller on the back of my left hand and not on the back of my right hand. After 3 months, there was a HUGE difference. The back of my left hand was smooth and pliant and my right hand was pretty wrinkled looking. I used a Vitamin E/Collagen hand cream on both hands, so it wasn't the cream. Now, I'm using the rollers on my face, hands and arms (sometimes my neck, but that kind of hurts) I'm a senior, so every little bit helps.
The one thing I have NEVER been able to do, is use a Derma Roller on my Scalp to help with Hair Growth. Try as I may, all I ever managed to do was get my Hair Tangled Up. OMG!!!!! I thought I was going to have to cut some of my hair off. So then I tried it just use it on the sides of my front forehead and I swear it caused me to LOSE some hair, because I think it was cutting the hair. I'm really not sure how people do it, but it did not work for me. If anyone has a clue on how that works, I'd love to hear it.
If you think this has been at all helpful, Please Indicate below and Thank You for reading my review. I received this as a Gift From my Friend. It was NOT Free or Reduced in Price & I was Not Compensated in any way. These are My Views & Mine Alone. If I can answer any questions, I'd be glad to do so.
