Just received today. Great little Kettle. Whistle noise is not terribly loud which is nice. Suggest hand drying it to ensure it does not rust. Comes with a replacement whistle disc which is easy to remove and install. Comes with a citric acid detergent if you need that. Be mindful of your maximum water line because it's only shown on the outside of the kettle not the inside. Be mindful of pouring because if it pours too fast it will spill out additional water from the spout. Suggest keeping a towel on hand just in case spilling, not a lot of spillage but there is some if you don't pour gradually. Handle does not get hot it gets warm but not hot. Used on a gas stove on medium and medium high Flame with no problem. Seems like a darn good kettle for the price.
