I didn't get mine from Amazon but purchased one 4 years ago from Tuesday Morning. The one I have has a dent in it. a customer brought it back to the store because of that, I didn't care about the dent, The dent doesn't affect the unit at all. I've seen the one on television similar and more expensive, and could not afford that one. I saw this model at the time the price was right and so I snapped it up. I've been happy ever since. I've never had a problem, it saved some on the electric bill. I like that it heats the room evenly with no hot spots. That means that when I stand up to move around the room the whole room is nice and comfortable. I'm not sitting in front of a heater that just blows the heat on me and the rest of the room is cold. I have a cat and he loves to jump on it. Because it's shape lets it sit square on the floor and it's cool to the touch I don't have to worry about him knocking it over or getting burned. i love this heater.
