I typically don't write reviews, conversely, I ENDLESSLY THANKFUL to those of you who do. That being said, when it comes to these battery-operated grinders I HAD to write. Over the years, I've invested in 4 pair of these. The first 3 were the same high-end brand, at least $90/pair, 2 pair for me, one for my mom. I tried to keep these older models working by routinely scraping off the corrosion on the battery compartments. My BF grew tired of watching this and bought me a 4th, different brand from Amazon but I quickly grew tired of the anemic grinding even with new batteries installed. Plus their LED lights only work sporadically - VERY frustrating to say the least. These grinders are superior in every way. First, they are the FIRST to redesign the battery compartment so it is separate from where the salt or pepper are added. Plus they further protect the battery compartment from moisture by designing the battery compartment to be more moisture proof. The grinding power is FABULOUS, the lights always work and the adjustment for the grinder is very easy to get to and use. In short, I couldn't be happier. I know you will be too.
