I bought this for my adult son, who has admired my own Gotham Steel fry pan. My only annoyance is that he wanted a lid that would fit the fry pan dimensions, and I never DID find an ad claiming such a fit. However, I went ahead and ordered (separately) the pan and the lid that I thought would fit. Turned out they did, and he's very happy. I just don't understand why the makers aren't aware of the needs of the consumers..... Seems pretty sloppy
