My cat makes it a point to turn up her nose at anything nice I buy for her - and only has real interest in anything belonging to the dog. She's getting older and having a harder time climbing up on the bed at night and allowing me to lay next to her. So, I ordered this mat and placed it in her (never used) cat bed. We put her in it twice, both times with her immediately jumping out with the patented cat "how dare you!" look. Two hours later, she came into the room and sniffed the mat. We held our breath and made sure not to directly look at her. She climbed in and sat there staring at us - daring us to acknowledge her presence. We did not. Moments later, she lay down, and has remained there ever since. As we tiptoe around her, we're amazed she has accepted our offering so quickly. Maybe she's softening with age? Nah, she's just cold. She's never looked so comfortable. If she were to review this, she'd probably give it 3 stars - but that is really the top of the cat scale.
