There are so many pros to this blender. Not only the smaller footprint compared to my Vitamix, but it is so much easier to clean! I hate trying to clean the bottom of my Vitamix because I'm sure I will end up cutting a finger off but this is just as powerful and so much easier to blend. It has suction feet on the base, which is a nice addition with little kids running around. There's less waste when making a smoothie because you can only fit so much in the containers.. The sleek stainless steel is beautiful. I love that this comes with two different blades: one for blending and one for grinding. It grinds oats, nuts, and rice into a wonderful FINE flour texture. No more do I need to buy those costly bags of specialty flours! The blades themselves function with power. My smoothie came out just as creamy and smooth as if I used the vitamix and it takes less than a minute for it. It has TWO large cups and TWO lids with spouts, so it's easy to make a smoothie for your spouse and for yourself, or you don't have to rush to wash it before you enjoy a second smoothie (because let's face it, sometimes we just don't have time to wash things asap!). I also like how wide the mouth is for the cups. There are times I need to puree a can of tomatoes when I don't have the right sauce on hand, and this makes the job easier with no mess. I have a very small blender I use for these tasks, but the container is so small it's hard to pour things into. It even comes with it's own little cleaning brush, which is great to get into those blades to clean them thoroughly. But another aspect to cleaning these (that I found out by accident) is that the blades can snap apart from the cylinder so you can get into the grooves and really make sure there is no molding or grime caught in the crevices. I'll be keeping this beautiful blender on the counter for daily use! It has everything I could want from a blender and you cannot beat the price!
