Much better than knock-offs
This is the best gold tape out there. I use it to line the inside of high-temperature reflow ovens. There is other similar looking stuff out there at a cheaper price, so I thought I'd test it. The insulating properties were very similar, but the adhesive is a different story. The photos tell the story.
